1. Introduction & Legal Basis
These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the basis on which you may browse and use our website, available at https://www.oaaspublishers.com, its subdomains, and any academic publishing services offered through it.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which contains important information regarding the ways in which we collect and process personal data in connection with our business operations.
The Site is owned and operated by OAAS Publishers Ltd, a company registered in USA, with registered office address at 8834 E 34 Rd, Cadillac, MI 49601, USA.
Your use of the site is governed by these Terms, which serve as a binding legal contract between us and you. By browsing or using the site and/or any services, content, or materials made available through the site, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
2. Website Use & Access
You may browse the site as an unregistered user to access published scholarly articles, table of contents, and editorial guidelines. However, author verification is required to submit manuscripts intended for publication in any OAAS journal.
You agree not to misuse the site, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorized access to server infrastructure, or engage in automated scraping beyond standard academic search indexation.
3. Registration & User Accounts
When registering with OAAS Publishers for article submission or reviewer services, you must provide accurate, current, and complete contact details (including valid institutional affiliations and institutional email addresses).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your user identity.
4. Manuscript Contributions & Intellectual Property
Any submissions you make via uploading of articles, figures, datasets, PowerPoint presentations, or video articles are described in these Terms as your Contribution.
In addition to these Terms, you acknowledge and agree that you will comply with all Author Guidelines, Editorial Workflows, and Publication Ethics policies applicable to the journal to which you contribute.
5. Site Availability
We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from bugs or temporary outages. Access is permitted on an "as-is" basis.
OAAS Publishers Ltd will not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Authors are responsible for maintaining independent backup copies of all original manuscript files and research data.
6. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Publication of an accepted article requires payment of an Article Processing Charge in accordance with the rates specified for each journal.
- Invoicing: Following formal peer-review acceptance, the corresponding author or sponsoring institution will be invoiced for the applicable APC.
- Payment Period: Settlements must be made in full within the period stipulated on the invoice via authorized third-party payment gateways.
- Non-Refundability: Because APCs cover peer-review administration, copyediting, DOI allocation, and long-term archiving, all fee payments are strictly non-refundable once processed.
- No Guaranteed Acceptance: Prior payment or membership enrollment does not guarantee manuscript acceptance; all papers must satisfy independent peer review standards.
7. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, OAAS Publishers Ltd excludes all warranties, representations, or implied terms regarding academic findings, clinical applications, or third-party datasets published on the site.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OAAS Publishers Ltd and its officers, editors, and employees against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or legal expenses arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms or the Author Guidelines;
- Any copyright infringement, plagiarism, or intellectual property violation in your Contribution;
- Any false ethical declarations or undisclosed conflicts of interest.
9. General Provisions
Any failure or delay by us to enforce any right under these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right. If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
